Job summary

Mercy Hospital is seeking a part-time LPN to assist in the endoscopy suite. Under the supervision of an RN, you will care for patients through pre-op, procedure, and recovery phases and help with endoscopy devices and scope handling.

The role offers opportunities to rotate between the inpatient endoscopy department and the new outpatient digestive health institute, with a focus on patient safety, high-level disinfection, and teamwork within a compassionate Mercy culture.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Licensure: Maintain a current LPN license in the hiring state.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required or will be completed within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Caring for endoscopy patients under RN direction during pre-op, procedure, and recovery.
• Assist physicians during endoscopy procedures and perform high-level disinfection in the Scope Room.
• Rotate between inpatient endoscopy and outpatient digestive health institute.
