Job summary

Duly Health and Care in Hoffman Estates seeks a GI room technician to support patient care and surgical procedures. The role involves ensuring instrumentation and supplies are ready, maintaining sterile technique, and assisting with GI room turnover and decontamination.

The candidate should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, BCLS certification, and at least 1 year of Endoscopic Suite experience. The position is full-time with daytime hours, and benefits include health coverage, tuition

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Endoscopic Suite.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, performs work related to the care and treatment of the patients in the GI room.
• Assures availability of instrumentation and supplies required for the surgical procedure prior to the case.
• Participates in GI room setup, turnover, cleaning, and restocking.
• Maintains sterile technique in opening of surgical supplies and instrumentation.
• Cleans, prepares and decontaminates GI scopes and equipment.
