Job summary

Duly Health and Care in Schaumburg, IL is seeking a GI Technician to support the GI suite. Under general supervision, you will prepare and assist with endoscopic procedures, ensure instrumentation is available, and maintain sterile technique.

The role requires a high school diploma, BCLS certification, and at least 1 year of Endoscopic Suite experience. The compensation includes base pay with potential incentives and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• BCLS Certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Endoscopic Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assists with GI room setup, turnover, cleaning and restocking.
• Maintains sterile technique in opening of surgical supplies and instrumentation.
• Cleans, prepares and decontaminates GI scopes and equipment.
• Provides for aseptic technique throughout surgical procedures.
• Observes and reports unusual conditions to the RN.
• Maintains instrument sets and supplies for GI procedures.
• Stocks supplies in room and blanket warmer.
