Job summary

Jobvite, Inc. is seeking a skilled Endoscopy Support Technician to assist GI/Pulmonary endoscopic procedures. This role involves room setup, instrument handling, and ensuring sterile technique throughout procedures.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ year experience as a patient care technician, BLS certification, and knowledge of infection control. This on-site position offers benefits and a structured clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Certification in Flexible Endoscope Reprocessing or SGNA associates certification within 2 years of hire.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Knowledge of infection control prevention is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience as PCT or in a related field.
• HS Graduate or Equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rooms with instruments and supplies for endoscopic procedures.
• Assist physicians with endoscopic procedures using universal precautions.
• Maintain sterile field and PPE as per procedures.
• Process all lab specimens as required.
• Restock supplies and prepare rooms between procedures.
