Job summary

Stryker Corporation in Illinois seeks an On-Site Specialist to support minimally invasive procedures by handling Endoscopy equipment, assisting in the operating room, and ensuring the equipment is ready for safe, efficient surgery.

You will coordinate with OnSite Specialists, surgical teams, Sterile Processing, and biomedical teams, repair devices, keep knowledge up to date through training, and document data for improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0+ years of customer service or technical assistance experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, move up to 20 lbs continuously, and stand/walk daily.
• Strong communication, time management, and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to obtain HSPA certification within 6 months of hire (with annual renewal).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate use of Stryker Endoscopy equipment with OnSite Specialists, surgical teams, Sterile Processing, and biomedical teams.
• Ensure Endoscopy equipment is prepared, fully operational, and compliant to enable safe procedures.
• Identify surgical teams’ needs and address equipment issues promptly.
• Troubleshoot and repair surgical devices to maintain peak performance.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge through Stryker training and share insights with clinical teams.
• Document and communicate data to support improvement efforts.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulatory standards, including HIPAA and patient privacy.
• Meet work schedule to ensure consistent surgical coverage.
• Clean, inspect, and assemble surgical instruments for sterilization.
