Endoscopic Technician – Endoscopy | Providence Health & Services
Overview
The Endoscopic Technician supports endoscopy procedures by cleaning, decontaminating, and reassembling instruments, maintaining a safe clean workplace, and assisting physicians as needed.
Responsibilities
- Clean and decontaminate endoscopy instruments and equipment.
- Reassemble instruments and store equipment properly.
- Use equipment cleaners and related equipment efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records and forms in a clean, safe work environment.
- Assist physicians during endoscopy procedures as needed.
- Post charges and collaborate with team members to ensure supplies are charged.
Required Qualifications
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
- Successful completion of an orientation program.
Preferred Qualifications
- Montana Nursing Assistant Certification, AAS Surgical Tech Degree, EMT, or nursing student upon hire.
