Job summary

Humble Vascular Surgical Center Inc is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to perform technical responsibilities for endoscopy patients, including preparation and handling of instruments and supplies for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Responsibilities include maintaining instrument PAR levels, organizing the work area, and supporting sterile processing to ensure safe and efficient endoscopy care.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Approved Operating Room Technical School certification preferred, or 1 year endoscopy on-the-job experience.
• Experience or ability to function in a leadership role.
• Knowledge of endoscopic instruments, equipment, sterilization machines, and terminal cleaning areas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble and organize the work environment, equipment and supplies for diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures.
• Monitor PAR levels of all instrumentation and supplies to ensure readiness and safety.

Education

High School diploma

Operating Room Technician certification (preferred)

1 year endoscopy on-the-job experience

Leadership experience

Knowledge of endoscopic instruments and sterilization

The Endoscopy Technician prepares, assembles, and organizes the work environment, equipment and supplies necessary to perform diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures.

Education And Experience

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Graduate of approved Operating Room Technical School with certification preferred, or one (1) year of on the job experience in an endoscopy setting.
• Experience or proven ability to function in a leadership role.
• Knowledge of the use and handling of instruments, endoscopic equipment; scope cleaning machines and sterilizer, standard precautions and terminal cleaning of surgical instruments and scope cleaning rooms

Required Licensure And Certification

• No license required, participation in AORT encouraged.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification.
