Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to perform technical responsibilities related to treatment and care of the endoscopy patient using the associated instrumentation. Responsibilities include monitoring PAR levels and preparing, assembling, and organizing the work environment, equipment and supplies for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

The role requires knowledge of endoscopic instruments, equipment, sterilization processes, and adherence to standard precautions.

Qualifications

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Graduate of approved Operating Room Technical School with certification preferred, or one (1) year of on the job experience in an endoscopy setting.
  • Experience or proven ability to function in a leadership role.
  • Knowledge of the use and handling of instruments, endoscopic equipment; scope cleaning machines and sterilizer, standard precautions and terminal cleaning of surgical instruments and scope cleaning rooms

Required Licensure And Certification
  • No license required, participation in AORT encouraged.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification.
