Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to support endoscopy procedures by handling instrumentation, preparing rooms, and monitoring supply PAR levels. The role requires careful organization of the work area and collaboration with surgical teams.

Responsibilities include maintaining sterile technique, assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and ensuring readiness of instruments and supplies for use in the OR. This position emphasizes safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Endoscopy OR tech school certification preferred, or 1 year endoscopy experience.
• Experience or proven ability to function in a leadership role.
• Knowledge of use and handling of endoscopic instruments and scope cleaning equipment.

The Endoscopy Technician prepares, assembles, and organizes the work environment, equipment and supplies necessary to perform diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures.

Education And Experience

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Graduate of approved Operating Room Technical School with certification preferred, or one (1) year of on the job experience in an endoscopy setting.
• Experience or proven ability to function in a leadership role.
• Knowledge of the use and handling of instruments, endoscopic equipment; scope cleaning machines and sterilizer, standard precautions and terminal cleaning of surgical instruments and scope cleaning rooms

Required Licensure And Certification

• No license required, participation in AORT encouraged.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification.
