Job summary

Forest Surgery Center is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to perform technical responsibilities related to patient care using endoscopy instrumentation. The role includes monitoring instrument PAR levels and organizing the work environment to support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

The candidate should have a high school diploma, OR Tech certification or equivalent experience, and demonstrated leadership capability.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of approved Operating Room Technical School with certification preferred, or one (1) year of on the job experience in an endoscopy setting.
• Experience or proven ability to function in a leadership role.
• Knowledge of the use and handling of instruments, endoscopic equipment; scope cleaning machines and sterilizer, standard precautions and terminal cleaning of surgical instruments and scope cleaning rooms

Responsibilities

• Performs technical responsibilities related to treatment and care of the endoscopy patient with the instrumentation used in that treatment.
• Monitors PAR levels of all instrumentation and supplies.
• Prepares, assembles, and organizes the work environment, equipment and supplies necessary to perform diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures

Job description

The Endoscopy Technician performs technical responsibilities relative to treatment and care of the e ndoscopy patient with the instrumentation utilized in that treatment. Monitors PAR levels of all instrumentation and supplies. The Endoscopy Technician prepares, assembles, and organizes the work environment, equipment and supplies necessary to perform diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Graduate of approved Operating Room Technical School with certification preferred, or one (1) year of on the job experience in an endoscopy setting.
