Job summary

FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas Corporation is seeking an entry-level technician to repair and inspect Endoscopic units. The role aims to meet monthly repair targets while adhering to safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, replacing parts, and performing final quality checks to ensure devices meet original specifications before release. Strong emphasis on safety, regulatory compliance, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalency required.
• Electronic or mechanical certification or degree preferred, but repair experience in electronics/medical devices may be considered.
• Soldering experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate professionally with coworkers and internal customers.
• Ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Ability to research and analyze information.
• Ability to prioritize work.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret essential documents.
• Ability to calculate and match figures and amounts.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs on core G/I (Endoscopic) equipment based on the Incoming Inspector's findings.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
• Assemble and disassemble small delicate parts of the endoscope while ensuring it meets specifications.
• Performs final quality inspection to verify manufacturer original specs before passing to QC.
• Adhere to safety policies, maintain clean work area, report unsafe conditions.
