Job summary

FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas Corporation seeks an Endoscopic Repair Technician/Associate Trainer to perform repair duties and to train and coach technicians across the US. The role combines hands-on repair work with training duties, ensuring adherence to safety and repair procedures.

The position requires a HS Diploma and relevant electronics/mechanical skills, with a minimum of 2 years in endoscopic repair. Occasional travel may be needed for training and audits across distributor locations.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalency is required.
• Electronic and/or Mechanical Certification or degree preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills including the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Endoscopic Repair or working on related medical equipment.
• Electronic and mechanical skills required.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor and overhaul repairs on endoscopic equipment based on inspection findings.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and adjust as necessary.
• Assemble and disassemble small, delicate parts to meet specifications.
• Troubleshoot potential problems not found during initial inspection.
• Comply with FDA and ISO 13485 requirements and all relevant laws.
• Other duties and ad-hoc assignments as required.
• Travel to Japan or other locations for training on new products.
• Support the training function with basic training and coaching.
