Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: 1 year experience in medical field; 1 year with insurance; 2–5 years in customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and staff in a positive professional manner at all times.
• Answer phones as needed and assist with routine duties (fax insurance, medical records, etc.).
• Assemble information concerning patient background and referral needs; provide information to specialists per referral guidelines.
• Prioritize referrals by urgency and track documentation to promote patient safety and team awareness.
• Complete daily routine assignments and maintain confidentiality at all times.
