Sun Recruiting, Inc. is seeking an Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner for a well-established physician-led group on Long Island. 100% outpatient, flexible hours, and options for part-time or full-time employment with no on-call.

Responsibilities include diagnosing endocrinology conditions, creating individualized treatment plans, coordinating with care teams, and educating patients. Requirements: BSN/MSN, NY RN/NP, BLS, board certification, 8+ years as NP, EMR experience, and strong communication.

Qualifications

BSN and MSN from an accredited nursing school.
Trained in Endocrinology.
NYS RN & NP license, BLS, Board Certified.
Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Team-oriented with a patient-centered approach to care.
8+ years experience as NP.

Responsibilities

Serve as a key clinical provider in the delivery of high-quality care.
Diagnose and treat endocrine conditions including diabetes and thyroid disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Refer patients to appropriate specialty services as needed.
Provide patient education on diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive strategies.
Maintain thorough documentation in the EMR system.
Collaborate with referring physicians and care teams to ensure seamless patient care.
Provide clinical oversight to nurses, technologists, and support staff.
Stay compliant with HIPAA, NYS DOH, CMS, and payer guidelines.
Contribute to developing a sustainable patient panel.
