Job summary

Food Management Search, Inc. is assisting a well-established, physician-led group on Long Island to recruit an Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner for 100% outpatient care.

This flexible role supports either part-time or full-time schedules, with generous compensation and no on-call requirements. The ideal candidate will hold BSN/MSN, NYS RN and NP licenses with BLS and board certification, plus 8+ years as an NP.

Qualifications

• BSN and MSN from an accredited nursing school.
• Trained in Endocrinology.
• NYS RN & NP license, BLS, Board Certified.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with a patient-centered approach to care.
• Proven ability to maintain and grow a local clinical practice is required.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to grow and manage a thriving patient base.
• Familiarity with EMRs and value-based care metrics is a plus.
• 8+ years experience as a NP.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key clinical provider in the delivery of high-quality care.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of endocrine conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, hormone imbalances, and infertility.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Refer patients to appropriate specialty services as needed.
• Provide clear communication and education to patients regarding diagnoses and treatment options.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation within the EMR system.
• Collaborate with referring physicians, specialists, and care teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Provide clinical oversight to nurses, technologists, and support staff within the practice.
• Stay compliant with HIPAA, NYS DOH, CMS, and relevant payer guidelines.
• Contribute to the development of a sustainable patient panel aligned with practice growth objectives.

Education

BSN/MSN from an accredited nursing school

NYS RN & NP license

Board Certified

8+ years NP experience

Strong diagnostic & communication skills
