Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider in Endocrinology for a full-time outpatient role. The APN/PA will work under collaborating physicians and manage comprehensive diabetic and endocrine care in a busy clinic.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, orders, and education; collaboration with a multidisciplinary team; and adherence to facility standards and policies. Outpatient setting with no weekends or on-call requirements.

Qualifikationen

• License: Advanced Practice Licensure (APN) or Physician Assistant (PA) Licensure in the State of IL required
• Federal DEA and Illinois Controlled Substance License required
• Master’s level program in specialty area completed
• BLS/CPR certification required
• Prior APN/PA experience preferred
• Special knowledge of continuous glucose monitors and insulin pump therapy preferred
• Experience in outpatient endocrinology setting preferred

Aufgaben

• Provide care to patients in Endocrinology under direction of collaborating physician(s)
• Obtain detailed history and perform physical examinations
• Order imaging, labs, and diagnostic procedures and interpret results
• Instruct patients on therapy regimens and pre/post operative instructions
• Maintain records and progress notes and follow patients through treatment
• Collaborate with physicians and health-care team to achieve outcomes
• Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies as appropriate
• Promote wellness and disease prevention across diverse settings
• Work autonomously and in interdisciplinary teams as resources
