The role involves autonomous clinic work, patient education, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in an outpatient setting. Applicants should have IL APN/PA licensure, a master’s degree in a related specialty, and DEA eligibility.

Qualifications

• License: Advanced Practice Licensure (APN) or Physician Assistant (PA) Licensure in the State of IL required
• Federal DEA and Illinois Controlled Substance License required
• Completion of master’s level program in specialty area
• BLS/CPR certification required
• Experience: Prior APN/PA experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in the Endocrinology Department under physician supervision
• Obtain detailed history and perform physical examinations; order imaging and labs as needed
• Prescribe therapies and monitor patient progress per standards of practice
• Collaborate with healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
