AdventHealth in Kissimmee, FL, is seeking an LPN for endoscopy care under RN supervision. You will complete patient records, plan care with physicians and RNs, and educate patients before procedures.

The role requires Florida LPN licensure, BLS, and IV certification, with ACLS and additional GI tech experience preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Job Description:

LPN provides care to the endoscopy patient under RN supervision. Completes medical records for all key physiologic, social, and psychological factors for endoscopy patients. Plans patient care using orders from the endoscopist, anesthesia, and RN input. Implements patient care and obtains informed consent. Carries out endoscopist's and anesthesia's orders. Performs pre-procedure testing and reports abnormal results. Educates patients and families before procedures. Delivers phase II post-procedure care and discharge education under RN supervision. Ensures continuity of care by timely reporting to caregivers. Practices accountability through teamwork, communication, and skill development. Stocks and cleans admit/recovery rooms as needed. Assists directly with procedures. Cleans, maintains, and documents endoscope care. Maintains endoscope cleaning supplies. Positions patients, secures monitors, and transports patients as required. Stocks and maintains procedure room supplies. Cleans procedure room and monitors.
