AdventHealth Kissimmee is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate endoscopy patient care under RN supervision. You will complete medical records, plan patient care using orders from the endoscopist, anesthesia and RN input, and obtain informed consent.

You will perform pre-procedure testing, educate patients and families, deliver post-procedure care, maintain continuity of care, assist with procedures, and ensure proper endoscope cleaning, room stocking, and equipment

Formación

• Technical/Vocational School or Associate’s education required.
• 2+ years related experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• LPN provides care to endoscopy patients under RN supervision.
• Completes medical records for key physiologic, social, and psychological factors.
• Plans patient care using orders from the endoscopist, anesthesia, and RN input.
• Implements patient care and obtains informed consent.
• Performs pre-procedure testing and reports abnormal results.
• Educates patients and families before procedures.
• Delivers stage II post-procedure care and discharge education under RN supervision.
• Maintains continuity of care by timely reporting to caregivers.
• Assists with endoscopy procedures and maintains endoscope care and cleaning.
• Stocks and cleans admit/recovery rooms and procedure supplies.
