Job summary

Referment, partnering with a leading tech-driven investment firm, seeks an End User Technology Engineer in New York. You will deliver a high-quality end-user experience, support desktops and mobile devices, and drive automation and process improvements in a fast-paced trading environment.

You will engage with front-office users and engineering teams, handling incidents and contributing to technology refreshes and deployments. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of end-user technology support in a demanding enterprise environment.
• Experience supporting Windows desktops, laptops, collaboration tools, mobile devices, and video conferencing.
• Background supporting front-office users in financial services or trading settings.
• Knowledge of Bloomberg or electronic trading platforms is highly beneficial.
• Experience automating tasks with PowerShell or Python.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a first-class end-user technology experience across trading, investment, and corporate teams.
• Provide hands-on support for desktops, laptops, collaboration platforms, mobile devices, and video conferencing.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and connectivity issues in a fast-moving environment.
• Automate repetitive operations with scripting to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Design improvements to end-user tech, support processes, and workflows.
• Lead technology refreshes, office deployments, migrations, and infrastructure projects.
• Own incidents through resolution, perform root-cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.
• Create technical documentation and user training materials.
• Partner with engineering, infrastructure, and vendors to deliver initiatives.
• Participate in on-call rota and support critical business events.
