Job summary

SEAKR Engineering in Centennial, CO is hiring a Desktop Support Technician II to join our IT team, focusing on end-user devices, OS imaging, software deployment, and endpoint management.

You will deliver proactive technical support, manage requests within SLAs, and work with IT Infrastructure to resolve escalations. Candidates must have DoD 8140/8570 IAT II (Security+ or equivalent) or the ability to obtain it.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of technical desktop support experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication with a customer-first mindset.
• Proficiency with Windows OS and Office 365.
• Understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy.
• PowerShell scripting for automation and AD queries.
• DoD 8140/8570 IAT II-compliant certification (Security+ or equivalent) or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with end-users.
• Manage, prioritize, and resolve tickets within SLAs.
• Support desktop hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Use endpoint management systems for OS imaging and software deployment.
• Document desktop hardware, software, and network configurations.
• Maintain workstation inventory and assist with MDM enrollment and policies.
• Collaborate with IT Infrastructure to resolve escalated issues.
• Assist with maintenance and administration of the desktop environment.
