Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a front-line IT support technician to resolve issues on enterprise end-user devices and systems, including PCs, laptops, thin clients, printers, and mobile devices. The role requires installing software, configuring devices, and maintaining device inventories.

Applicants should have strong experience with Windows OS, TCP/IP networking, and PC hardware. The position includes imaging, software deployment, and knowledge base creation to streamline support processes.

Qualifications

Two years technical customer service experience.
Experience with Windows operating systems and TCP/IP networking.
Solid knowledge of PC hardware and software support.

Responsibilities

Imaging and software installs on end user devices.
Log and monitor customer questions, issues, and problems through resolution.
Provide customer updates and status reports on open issues.
Maintain Service Level Agreements.
Create knowledge base articles with step-by-step instructions for hardware/software usage and troubleshooting.
Provide configuration, deployment, and operational support for end user devices and software/systems.
