Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America is seeking an Corporate End-User Systems intern to support desktop, laptop, tablet and kiosk devices. You will assist with implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced IT environment at Counce, TN.

The internship offers exposure to SCCM, Active Directory, PowerShell and software packaging, while developing practical skills in end-user compute support and incident handling for internal customers.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Science, Information Technology Systems or equivalent.
• Previous work experience in related ITS areas preferred.
• Applicant should have familiarity with application versus Network Security administration.
• Applicant should have familiarity with Local and Wide Area Networks.
• Applicant should have familiarity with investigating and resolving first echelon help desk service requests.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, utilize and troubleshoot SCCM Agent connectivity, remote control, inventory queries and reports.
• Provide in person and remote support of other team members, support engineers and end users.
• Perform different methods of application packaging and deployment such as in machine and/or user environments, batch file scripting, VBS, AutoIT, Powershell, MSI, and InstallShield.
• Configure Internet Explorer browsing, security, troubleshooting and browser customizations.
• Manage Desktop hardware and operating system security, access and controls via Powershell, Active Directory, Remote Desktop Connectivity and Group Policy.
