Job summary

RRI, Inc. is looking for a Desktop Administrator in Columbus, Ohio, to analyze and resolve end user hardware and software issues efficiently. The role also includes planning for future acquisitions, managing user accounts, and ensuring a stable computing environment.

The ideal candidate has an Associates Degree in IT or related experience and experience with IBM compatible systems. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are necessary, along with familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in IT or related experience.
• Experience with IBM or compatible microcomputers.
• Prefer experience with Win2K3 networks.
• Prior experience supporting Microsoft Windows-compatible software applications in a networked environment.
• Prefer basic familiarity with Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve end user hardware and software computer problems.
• Conduct hardware evaluations and vendor management.
• Administer network end user accounts and manage access privileges.
• Develop monitoring to ensure compliance with licensing and security.
• Assist Network Administrator with server and network management.
