Job summary

C2R Ventures is seeking a Boston-based Desktop Engineer to join the Infrastructure and Risk Management team. You will deliver high-quality technology support across 450 users worldwide, balancing daily service with automation and user-focused projects.

You will troubleshoot, implement improvements, and document resolutions while collaborating with multiple teams to enhance reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in desktop engineering and service desk support.
• Ability to automate and improve productivity through scripting and tooling.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot technology-related issues for internal customers and provide responsive, professional support through the Service Desk.
• Lead and complete projects that improve end-user experience by reducing downtime and increasing performance.
• Own tickets and requests from intake through resolution with clear expectations and customer communication.
• Provide clear documentation of steps taken to resolve issues and close notes for future engineers.
• Escalate issues to proper internal teams when necessary and maintain ownership while learning opportunities are captured.
• Administer, maintain, and improve desktop systems, endpoint management tools, and business applications including upgrades and config changes.
• Participate in SDLC and Change Management best practices.
• Excellent team player with ability to help others on the team.
• Knowledge of at least three of: Citrix, Active Directory, Azure, Windows 11, Networking, SCCM/Intune, Webex/Teams, Exchange/Outlook, PowerShell.
