Job summary

Paragon Alpha - Hedge Fund Talent Business invites an End User Experience Engineer to join a global investment firm’s engineering team. You’ll build and operate modern endpoint platforms for a worldwide user base, focusing on standardisation, automation and reliability across Apple devices and secure remote access.

You’ll collaborate with identity, networking, security and application teams while advancing runbooks, lifecycle management and AI-assisted troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of EUC/Endpoint Engineering experience.
• Expertise with Apple macOS platforms and iOS/iPadOS device management.
• Experience at scale with secure remote access (SASE/ZTNA).
• Proficiency in scripting: Python, Bash or Zsh.
• Experience with Intune/SCCM and Windows endpoint ecosystems.
• Familiarity with API-based automation.
• Experience supporting a global user base in financial services.
• Strong cross-team communication.

Responsibilities

We are working with a global investment firm that combines technology, quantitative research and investment expertise across global financial markets.

They are looking for an End User Experience Engineer to join their engineering team, focused on building and operating modern endpoint platforms across a global user base.

This is an engineering-focused EUC role, centred around standardisation, automation and reliability rather than traditional desktop support. You’ll work across Apple platforms, mobile devices, secure remote access and wider end-user technologies, partnering closely with identity, networking, security and application teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engineer and manage secure remote access solutions, including SASE/ZTNA
• Own core engineering for Apple endpoints and mobility, including: Jamf pro admin, Apple business manager, iOS/macOS lifecycle management
• Troubleshoot issues across endpoints, identity, networking and SaaS applications
• Support application packaging, deployment and lifecycle management

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in EUC, Endpoint Engineering or End User Platform Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with Apple platforms and macOS
• Experience managing secure remote access solutions at scale
• Experience managing iOS/iPadOS devices, including enrollment, compliance and application deployment
• Working knowledge of Android Enterprise
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash or Zsh
• Comfortable working with APIs
• Strong troubleshooting skills across endpoints, identity and network dependenciesEnterprise experience, ideally within financial services
• Experience with Intune/SCCM and the Windows endpoint ecosystem
• Experience with application packaging and deployment
