Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated End User Device Technician to join our team in San Antonio, TX. You will provide hands-on support for VOIP phones, teleconferencing, AV systems, printers, and desktops, ensuring devices are properly installed and maintained.

You will participate in equipment surveys, inventories, and logistics, support modernization projects, and meet SLA requirements while traveling to support other locations as needed, up to 25% of the time.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on IT hardware support experience required.
• IAT Level II baseline certification (e.g., Security+) required.
• Experience or willingness to learn installation/troubleshooting of end user devices.

Responsibilities

• Provides installation/troubleshooting support to VOIP phones, teleconferencing equipment, AV systems, printers, desktops, and other hardware.
• Supports refresh, modernization, projects, and service task orders as required.
• Performs equipment classifications and sanitization per process.
• Conducts equipment surveys, inventories, and database updates; assists with logistics.
• Meets SLAs and travels up to 25% to support other locations.

Job description

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented End User Device Technician to join our team in San Antonio TX.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provides installation/troubleshooting support to VOIP phones, Teleconferencing equipment, AVMM/conference rooms, printers, desktop computers, other hardware devices as requested, and completes associated cabling work.
• Supports refresh, modernization, projects, and Service Task Order activities as required.
• Follows proper processes of equipment classification and sanitization.
• Conducts equipment surveys, inventories, completes database updates, and assists with logistical services for associated equipment.
• Works all of the above requirements within Service Level Agreement time windows.
• Travels to support other locations within the area as needed up to 25% travel required

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1+ years of hands-on experience in IT hardware support.
• Possess an IAT level II baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M such as Security +
• Experience in or willingness to learn installation/troubleshooting of end user devices such as VOIP phones, Teleconferencing equipment, AVMM/conference rooms, printers, desktop computers, other hardware devices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting CAN networking requirements.
• Experience with a ticketing system, preferably ServiceNow.
• Quality cabling skills in installation, splicing, and fabrication.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ Poly

Physical Requirements:

• Maintains a regular sedentary position, attends meeting both virtually and in person, constantly positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet and must be willing to travel as needed to support operational demands.
