Job summary

Denton Floyd Real Estate Group in Jeffersonville, IN is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to own invoice processing, vendor payments, and payables reconciliation across corporate and division entities. You’ll work across multi-entity vendors from national suppliers to local subcontractors, managing the AP lifecycle from queue to check run and supporting close and 1099 prep.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of AP or accounting experience, sharp attention to detail, and proficiency with ERP

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organized with multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review, code, and process vendor invoices and employee expense reports across multiple entities.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and contracts; route for approval through workflows.
• Verify job-cost and property-level charges hit correct entity, project, and cost code.
• Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire requests.
• Maintain vendor files, including W-9s and insurance certificates.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies and disputes.
• Support month-end close, including AP accruals and external audits.
