Job summary

Sulzer's Los Angeles Service Center is seeking a Repair Coordinator to own pump repair jobs from entry to final delivery. You will bridge Sales, Shop, Engineering, Quality, and customers, ensuring scope, schedule, and documentation stay aligned across a backlog of centrifugal pump repairs in the Western U.S.

Responsibilities include end-to-end job ownership, coordination with Shop Leads, and maintaining SAP data while communicating status and changes to customers.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication in English; able to interface with industrial customers (procurement, reliability, maintenance).
• Experience coordinating repair shop or similar operations; ability to manage 15–30+ concurrent jobs.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and BOMs; proficient with SAP/order management in a repair/service context.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned repair jobs end-to-end: entry, scope, inspection, tracking, documentation, delivery.
• Build and issue technical proposals with the Sales Rep using standard templates.
• Coordinate with Shop Leads and Service Center Superintendent on scheduling, resources, parts, and priorities.
• Manage customer communication on status, inspection findings, scope changes, and delivery dates; schedule Witness/Hold Points.
• Maintain accurate SAP data: order status, milestones, hours, materials, costs, delivery dates.
