Job summary

ABB is seeking an Order-to-Delivery Business Lead to own on-time, in-full delivery for a high-volume manufacturing business end to end—demand to shipment—working with SAP as a co-owner. You will fix what moves the number and stay until the target is met, reporting to the VP of IT.

This is a founding, hands-on role in our first value stream with authority to change processes, rules, and systems. You will work with a business sponsor in Installation Products and travel to plants, centers, and the

Qualifications

Degree in supply chain, engineering, business or related field.
8+ years in manufacturing or distribution in planning, scheduling, inventory, fulfillment, order management or operations, including 3+ years accountable for an operational result.
You can follow an order from demand to shipment across plants and distribution centers, and identify where it gets stuck (Make-to-stock or Make-to-order).
Experience using SAP hands-on in order fulfillment as a user, power user or process lead.

Responsibilities

Own one business outcome: orders shipped complete on the committed date.
Find root causes of missed orders using data and fix underlying causes.
Set priorities for fixes, builds, or changes including stock allocation rules.
Manage change across plants, DCs, and system teams not directly reporting to you.
Run short experiments (1–2 months) and keep what moves the number.
Report results honestly to business leaders, including what isn’t working.
