Job summary

MCS Group - USA | Your Specialist Recruitment Firm is seeking an experienced ERP consultant to drive full lifecycle implementations for customers in the lumber and building-materials sector. You will lead discovery, configuration, data migration, and go-live, with direct customer interaction and hands-on ERP work.

You will own technical delivery across discovery to post-live stabilization, coordinating with PMs, developers, and third-party providers, and producing training materials and reports.

Qualifications

• Deliver ERP implementations from discovery to go-live for multiple customers.
• Lead at least three end-to-end ERP implementations for an ERP vendor.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation, reporting and troubleshooting.
• Experience configuring APIs and integrating third-party systems.
• Facilitate customer workshops and gather requirements; document outcomes.
• Ability to balance multiple projects and drive on-time delivery.
• Proven problem-solving to determine data, configuration, or development root causes.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions to understand customer processes and priorities.
• Configure the ERP platform around operational requirements.
• Extract, transform, validate and migrate data from legacy systems.
• Use SQL for data validation, reporting, troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Configure APIs and support integrations with external business platforms.
• Work with customers through testing and go-live preparation.
• Create reports, documentation and training materials.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, developers and third-party providers.
• Support customers during go-live and stabilization period.
• Advise customers when a process should be simplified rather than customised.
