Job summary

Groundswell is seeking an engineer who can translate business problems into technical requirements and deliver end-to-end AI-enabled solutions. You will own capabilities from discovery through deployment and operation, guiding teams and clients on what AI can and cannot deliver.

You will drive architecture decisions, evaluate AI system quality, and mentor others while balancing accuracy, cost, and latency in client engagements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building and shipping production software.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with LLM-based applications, prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation.
• Ability to own a capability end to end from ambiguous requirements to production.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements conversations with stakeholders and define the technical approach.
• Select AI patterns (extraction, classification, summarization, retrieval, agentic workflows).
• Operationalize capabilities with governance, logging, and monitoring.
