Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking an End Dump Driver in Sugar Land, TX. The role involves operating an end-dump truck and on-board hydraulics to collect and deliver waste on assigned routes, with emphasis on safety, paperwork, and route efficiency.

The position requires a valid CDL (Class A or B), at least one year of driving experience, and a clean driving record. DOT physical, drug screen, and background check are required; training and a road test will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must possess valid Class A or B CDL.
• One year of satisfactory driving experience with Class A or B vehicles.
• Satisfactory driving record and DOT physical, drug screen, and background check.
• Ability to operate an 80,000-lb vehicle and follow safety procedures.
• Must pass GFL safety tests and road evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Operate container delivery truck and on-board hydraulic systems to deliver and remove solid waste dumpsters.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and complete required paperwork.
• Communicate vehicle mechanical problems to supervisor immediately.
• Maintain route quality standards as predetermined by management.
• Ensure containers without lids are covered during transport.
• Attend safety and branch meetings and complete other duties as required.
