Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is hiring a driver to transport, load, deliver, and collect various waste at customer sites. You will operate box trucks and related equipment, perform pre-trip inspections, and ensure loads are secure.

The role requires a valid CDL B license, ability to pass a drug screen, and willingness to work indoors and outdoors with lifting up to 75 lbs. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL B license is required.
• Hazmat endorsements are preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Demonstrated organizational skills with strong oral and written communication.
• Ability to work outdoors and indoors and lift up to 75+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cargo handling and secure loads, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Load and unload trucks and prepare vehicles for service.
• Maintain logs of working hours and vehicle status as required.
• Inspect equipment and perform trip inspections for roadworthiness.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
