Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a disciplined CDL driver to operate a pumper truck on an assigned route, load/unload equipment, and unload waste at disposal sites.

The role requires diligence in safety inspections and accurate reporting, with a strong commitment to vehicle upkeep and PPE compliance. The ideal candidate will have a CDL and relevant driving experience, plus the ability to follow safety protocols, communicate effectively with customers and supervisors, and work overtime as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
• One year of satisfactory commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate preferred.
• Ability to meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate pumper truck and pumping system on assigned route.
• Load and unload equipment on trucks and trailers.
• Unload waste at disposal locations.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and daily reports.
• Report mechanical issues to supervisor and mechanic immediately.
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and PPE usage.
