GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a commercial driver to operate frontload or ancillary collection equipment on designated routes in Port Bolivar, TX. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, use GPS for routing, and ensure safe dumping and site cleanliness throughout the day.

The role requires a valid CDL and at least one year of truck driving experience, with a strong emphasis on safety, equipment operation, and customer interaction on busy streets and neighborhoods.

Formación

• Possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Minimum of one year commercial truck driving experience OR CDL school certificate.
• Must meet safety-sensitive criteria per Company standards.
• Must demonstrate ability to safely drive the truck and operate equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Drive frontload or ancillary equipment along routes to collect waste.
• Open enclosures, position cans for dumping, and perform dumping safely.
• Complete daily pre- and post-trip inspections and reports.
• Interact courteously with customers and the public along the route.
• Maintain truck sites and ensure safety and cleanliness during operations.
• Maintain and submit logbooks and vehicle condition reports as required.
• Back up using mirrors, back distances up to ~120 feet.
• Use maps and GPS to locate service addresses.
• Follow lock out/tag out and other safety procedures.
• Monitor for debris and hazards during dumping operations.
