Job summary

The Langham, Chicago is seeking a Bell/Door Attendant to create memorable first and last impressions for guests. You will greet arrivals, assist with luggage, open doors, coordinate taxi service, and guide guests to hotel amenities with impeccable English and a courteous demeanor.

This role requires the ability to navigate the surrounding area, communicate clearly, and collaborate with the Front Office team to uphold Langham’s service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• No prior hospitality experience required; prior guest service is a plus.
• Must be able to read luggage tags and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide a sincere welcome.
• Open car doors and assist guests with loading and unloading luggage.
• Assist with taxi arrangements and confirm destinations with drivers.
• Provide directions to hotel facilities and local attractions.
• Communicate parking procedures and hotel services clearly.
• Maintain a neat, attentive entrance and assist with house car operations as needed.
