Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Lead Production Support Specialist in McLean, VA to lead end-to-end platform management for EMV Certification platforms, balancing stability with platform transformation. You will own testing, validation, and release readiness while driving performance and scalability in cloud environments.

The role requires deep monitoring, incident management, and stakeholder collaboration, with exposure to ITIL, PDLC, and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years managing operational monitoring, incident response and backlog for technology platforms.
• Minimum 2 years in Product Delivery Life Cycle (PDLC), including defining requirements and UAT planning.
• Experience partnering with internal and external clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own platform strategy and roadmaps across EMV Certification platforms.
• Define and prioritize platform backlog aligned with business needs.
• Monitor platform stability, availability, and performance with KPIs.
• Lead incident management and drive end-to-end resolution with stakeholders and vendors.
• Manage risks and communicate impacts to senior management.
• Coordinate testing, validation, and release readiness with primary/secondary owners.
