Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks an EMT-qualified Medical Support Specialist in Tyler, TX. You will determine donor eligibility, review test results, and support donor safety within a regulated plasma donation setting.

You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and collaborate with Center Physician for medical issues. Expect to uphold EHS guidelines and contribute to a fast-paced, patient-focused operation.

Qualifications

• State licensure in EMT category as required by responsibilities.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Successful completion of BioLife FDA training requirements.
• Ability to manage donor safety and adverse events per SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and donor history.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Consult Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical/performance issues.
• Support vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
• Assist with occupational health/ER incident review and EHS guidance.
