Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Emergency Readiness Patrol Driver in Washington, IL. This full-time position involves unarmed security patrols, customer service, and rapid response to incidents at a manufacturing and industrial site.

A EMT certification and valid driver’s license are required, along with a high school diploma or equivalent. The role offers daytime shifts with a $24.00/hour pay rate and a focus on safety, communications, and professional service.

Qualifications

• EMT certification required or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior production areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors and contractors, maintaining visitor records, and reporting access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining professional interactions with all personnel.
