Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Emergency Care Patrol Driver in Peoria, IL. This full-time, unarmed role involves patrolling a manufacturing and industrial site, responding to incidents, and providing excellent customer service.

The position requires EMT certification, firefighting experience, and a valid driver’s license. Candidates should be comfortable with computers/tablets and have customer service experience. Training and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• EMT certification is required.
• Previous firefighting experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required per policy.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures and emergency response plans at a manufacturing/industrial site.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor location access by checking credentials and visitor/contractor processes; report access-control concerns.
• Document patrols and incidents in reports and communicate information to leadership and site contacts.
