Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Emergency Care Patrol Driver in Peoria, IL. You will protect sites in manufacturing and industrial settings, monitor areas, deter incidents, and respond to emergencies. This is a full-time driving role requiring EMT certification and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Possess a current EMT certification.
• Have previous firefighting experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor entry processes, and reporting access-control concerns.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observed conditions in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
