BioLife Plasma Services in Elkhart, IN seeks a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations and donor care. You will determine donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events, review laboratory results, and notify donors of test outcomes under supervision.

Must be EMT-Paramedic licensed with CPR/AED certification and at least two years of clinical experience. Training and safety programs are provided to ensure compliant donor care and program integrity.

Competenze

• Liscensure as EMT-Paramedic in the applicable state.
• CPR and AED certification current.
• Two years of clinical or hospital setting experience.
• FDA-mandated BioLife training completion.

Mansioni

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, AIDS education and confidential self-exclusion, medical history interview, acceptance requirements, physical exam, and SPE review.
• Evaluate donor reactions per SOPs and arrange medical transport for emergencies.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unclear or unacceptable findings and guidance on medical issues.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate with Occupational Health/ER and EHS guidance.
