Job summary

The FTO will provide hands-on instruction, monitor progress, document competencies, and mentor staff, while coordinating with the Operations division to maintain training objectives and compliance with state and organizational protocols.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED equivalent.
• Licensed EMT or Paramedic.
• NIMS 100, 200, 700, 800.
• Possession of a valid State Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Promotes positive customer relations with patients, visitors, and peers.
• Completes daily observation reports and updates progress records.
• Communicates effectively with new hires, staff, and other agencies as needed.
• Responds to dispatches to render pre-hospital emergency care and resuscitation.
• Evaluates illness or injury and prioritizes care according to protocols.
