Job summary

Whole Person Care Clinic (WPCC) in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Medical Coordinator Assistant to support client health, care coordination, and documentation within WPCC programs, including Recuperative Care.

Under supervision of licensed staff, you will conduct health checks, assist with intake, manage medication support, and coordinate medical and behavioral health appointments while upholding HIPAA and program guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current EMT Certification.
• Meet credentialing and certification requirements as defined by WPCC program guidelines.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide client health support and monitoring under authorized supervision.
• Assist with intake processes and daily wellbeing checks.
• Support medication self-administration and maintain logs.
• Coordinate medical, behavioral health, and specialty appointments with the care team.
• Document interactions accurately in the EHR and ensure HIPAA/compliance.
