Job summary

Whole Person Care Clinic (WPCC) seeks a Medical Coordinator Assistant to support client health, care coordination, and documentation for programs including Recuperative Care. This role operates under supervision of licensed clinical staff to help with health stabilization and continuity of care.

You will assist with scheduling, education on hygiene and medication adherence, maintain accurate EHR entries, and participate in team meetings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current EMT Certification.
• Meet credentialing and certification requirements as defined by WPCC program guidelines.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily wellbeing checks and assist with intake under supervision.
• Observe and report changes in client condition to supervising staff.
• Provide basic health education related to hygiene and medication adherence.
• Support care coordination by scheduling medical, behavioral health, and specialty appointments.
• Document health-related interactions in the EHR accurately and timely.
