Job summary

Whole Person Care Clinic (WPCC) seeks a Medical Coordinator Assistant to support client health, care coordination, and documentation in Recuperative Care programs. This role operates under supervision of authorized clinical staff to promote health stabilization and continuity of care.

The position involves scheduling, medication support, and health education, with accurate EHR documentation and collaboration with Case Managers, housing staff, and clinical teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current EMT Certification is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Credentialing and certification as defined by WPCC guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide client health support and monitoring under supervision.
• Assist with care coordination, scheduling, and follow-up care.
• Document health interactions and care activities in the EHR.
• Escalate clinical concerns and medication issues per policy.
• Support infection control and maintain safe care environments.
