Job summary

AmeriPro Health is hiring an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to provide essential Basic Life Support (BLS) and safe transport in emergency environments. You will perform patient assessments, administer BLS care, and support Paramedics while ensuring strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous EMT work experience.
• PHTLS and/or ITLS training.
• Technology proficiency and ability to learn EMS software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and provide BLS interventions (CPR, oxygen delivery, bleeding control).
• Assist Paramedics by preparing equipment and performing delegated tasks during ALS calls.
• Monitor patient condition during transport and relay updates to the Paramedic or receiving facility.
• Complete accurate, timely electronic documentation of BLS care and patient interactions.
• Operate the ambulance safely and in compliance with driving standards and regulations.
• Maintain ambulance and equipment readiness through inspections and restocking.
• Perform stretcher operations and secure equipment to support safe transport.
• Participate in required training and quality improvement activities to maintain EMT proficiency.
