Job summary

AmeriPro Health seeks an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to provide essential Basic Life Support care and safe medical transport. The role emphasizes patient assessment, BLS treatment, and teamwork with Paramedics in emergency environments.

Qualifications

• Previous EMT work experience
• PHTLS and/or ITLS training
• Technology proficiency

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and provide BLS interventions such as CPR, oxygen delivery, bleeding control, splinting, and vital signs monitoring.
• Assist Paramedics by preparing equipment and performing delegated tasks during ALS calls.
• Monitor patient condition during transport and relay updates to the Paramedic or receiving facility.
• Complete accurate, timely electronic documentation of BLS care and patient interactions.
• Operate the ambulance safely as assigned, following AmeriPro driving standards and traffic regulations.
• Maintain ambulance and equipment readiness through inspections, cleaning, restocking, and reporting issues.
