Job summary

AmeriPro Health seeks an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to provide essential Basic Life Support care and safe medical transport. You will perform patient assessments, deliver BLS treatments, and support Paramedics in high-stress environments while upholding safety and compassion.

Qualifications

• Previous EMT work experience required.
• PHTLS and/or ITLS training preferred.
• Proficiency with technology and electronic documentation systems desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and provide BLS interventions ( CPR, oxygen, bleeding control, splinting, vital signs).
• Assist Paramedics by preparing equipment and performing delegated ALS tasks.
• Monitor patient condition during transport and relay updates to the Paramedic/receiving facility.
• Complete accurate electronic documentation of care and interactions in a timely manner.
• Operate the ambulance safely and in compliance with driving standards.
• Maintain ambulance and equipment readiness through inspections and restocking.
• Perform stretcher operations and assist with safe patient transport.
• Participate in required training and quality improvement activities.
